Book one Reflections

I personally loved the book Slaughterhouse Five I thought that it was extremely interesting. I was confused at first aliens, WWII, a guy named Billy Pilgrim, what is going on in this book. But as you get deeper into the book you realize what its truly about. what its really about is the stupidity and pointlessness of WWII and how horrifying and completely unnecessary theesden bombings were. As you start to understand the book more you start to agree with the author more and more, why did we do this, why did this have to happen? Made me think about life and the world that I am in today, why is war necessary, why does everyone have to fight for every little bit. I loved the book and I would reccomend it to anyone, you don't even have to like WWII, well no one like WWII, you don't have to like the history behind it to enjoy it. I think everyone should read it just to get the moral of the story, just to understand how stupid WWII really was. Billy Pilgrim will go down in history as one of my favorite characters of all time. He wasn't heroic, smart, or brave he was just kind of there watching all of these horrifying events unfold and I respect him for that. Great book I can't say that enough, I would give it a 10/10!
